What does philanthropy look like in 2030?
Do you remember thinking in 2010 how far off 2020 was, and how many possibilities the future held? Time passes quickly, and here we are ten years later. In this session, Bond will help you get a headstart on 2030 planning by predicting what trends from 2020 will have gained a foothold by 2030, and by trying to anticipate emerging trends in fundraising that aren’t even on our radar today!
This plenary-style session will focus on three key themes: the impact of younger populations (millennials and beyond) and changes in technology on outreach and solicitation strategies, privacy concerns related to prospect and donor outreach, and on what targeted fundraising campaigns will look like.
About Our Speaker
Bond Lammey is senior Vice President of Prospect Development at BWF, an international fundraising consultancy headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. She has worked with higher education institutions, medical centers, and humanitarian and conservation organizations. Prior to joining BWF, Bond was the Director of Prospect Research at the University of Chicago. Bond received her BA in Sociology and her Masters of Management in Nonprofit Administration, both from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. She is the Immediate Past President of Apra International and an instructor at the Rice University Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. Bond has presented in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Asia at AFP, AHP, CASE, ADRP, aasp, and Apra conferences.
